Russell Moore – Chef

Leading the innovative culinary team at The Fountains of Albemarle is Chef Russell Moore. Originally from Greenville, North Carolina, Chef Russell traveled as much as possible in search of his own culinary style.

In 1999 he accepted a cook’s position at Iron Wood Country Club hoping to learn as much as he could from one of North Carolina’s finest Chefs at that time. He quickly worked his way up to Sous Chef and shortly after was offered a job at Cuvee in Rocky Mount as Chef.

His love for food and eagerness to learn helped Chef Russell make a name for himself at a young age. He prides himself on constantly getting better and never settling for average. Even now he feels that the best is yet to come for him in the culinary world.

In addition to constantly trying to better himself as a Chef, Russell also enjoys spending time with his family, especially his three children. He stays active in the community and is always willing to help those in need.

A seasoned talent with extensive experience in the culinary arena, Chef Russell is committed to delivering great food and service to the residents, families and guests of The Fountains at The Albemarle.
